For most European experiences, six to twelve months is a comfortable planning window. For high-demand periods like summer in the south of France, harvest season in wine country, or peak golf season in Ireland and Scotland, earlier is always better. The best guides, properties, and table reservations do not wait.

Private guides, exclusive access, and experiences that do not appear in a general search are part of what makes a Lux Grand Travels itinerary different from one you could assemble yourself. The relationships that make those things possible take years to build. You benefit from them immediately.

You can research, compare, and book the components of a trip yourself. What you cannot easily build online is the coherence: the right pace, the right sequence, the right partners, the moments that feel considered rather than assembled. A travel designer does not replace your judgment. She applies hers alongside yours so the result is better than either alone.

Why not just use AI to plan the trip?

AI can surface options. It cannot make judgment calls. It does not know which guide is exceptional this season and which one has slipped. It cannot check if the hotel you want actually has availability for your dates. It cannot tell you that the charming property you found online is under renovation this year, or that the restaurant everyone is talking about requires a contact to get a table. It does not have a relationship with the property manager who can move you to a better room. It cannot anticipate how a long transfer day will affect the pacing of everything that follows. The difference between a list of possibilities and a trip that actually works is human expertise applied to your specific situation. That is what a travel designer does.
